Vocal Group (12+) Saturday 1.45 - 2.30pm

 
This vocal group aims to improve students ability to harmonise by singing in parts and small groups.  Students are involved in working as a team to produce outstanding performances, whilst also improving essential vocal skills and techniques.  Additionally, students will gain knowledge and understanding of live sound and learn microphone technique, which will enhance the standard of both solo and group performances.  Students are encouraged to perform on a regular basis, in order to improve performance technique and dealing with nerves on stage. 
Vocal Group is an excellent oppurtunity to improve singing ability and have fun with your friends!  However, in order to ensure each student recieves the highest standard of tuition possible, numbers are limited to 15 in a class, so apply for your place soon!
 
 

Vocal Group (6-11 years old) Saturday 2.30 - 3.15pm

 
During this class, students learn the key skills and techniques needed to build a strong vocal range.  They will also learn the basics of harmony and gain an understanding of singing together to create the best sound.  Students learn about the basic elements of music-dynamics, pitch, tempo, texture and timbre, and use this knowledge to improve their own performances and make them more exciting.  Because students are learning and working together, we develop a real sense of teamwork and friendship.  Its lovely to see how supportive the students are towards each other.  The class has a maximum of 15 places, so book early to ensure your child's place for September! 
 
 

Vocal Coach, Danielle Breckin

 
Danielle has been singing in various choirs, bands and shows from a young age, developing her own vocal style along the way. Currently she sings with new band 'The Effectives', covering tracks from Northern Soul to 60s garage and Freakbeat, as well as an acoustic duo, providing easy listening and Jazz for various functions.  Currently Danielle is teaching vocals at Fit To Dance Theatre and Dance School, in Ashford, Kent, teaching contemporary styles and performance techniques with enthusiasm and passion!
