WHO WE ARE
Situated in Ashford at the heart of Kent, we have established ourselves as a leading provider for quality dance training for both children and adults of all ages. We also run successful classes in theatre and singing.
In addition to our class timetable, we host themed birthday parties for all ages and also run a variety of workshops and activities throughout the school holidays.
We have four purpose built dance studios all independently equipped with full sprung harlequin floors, mirrors, ballet bars and air conditioning/heating systems. All of our studios are available to hire.
At FTD Dance Centre we take great pride in providing an exciting and creative experience where students can learn and perform in a pleasant and safe environment.
Parents can relax in our warm and welcoming reception area and enjoy tea and coffee facilities whilst they wait for their child.
So whether your an absolute beginner or a polished performer, wanting fun or serious training, we have something for everyone and with over sixty classes a week to choose from you will be spoilt for choice!

FTD Elite Cabaret Team
Our Elite Cabaret Team starts from the age of 6 years where we start to look for students with great potential.
These students represent FTD in national competitions throughout the year. There are also further opportunities to perform outside of the school.
Elite cabaret teams are trained in technique, performance and competition work. They will learn all styles of dance as we believe this helps to produce an all round performer.
Being part of the cabaret team helps to develop the students' diversity within dance as well as confidence, performance levels and ability, fitness and it also encourages the notion of working as a team for a common goal.
We have an excellent competition success rate with our cabaret teams and all of our members are focussed and dedicated to dance and cabaret.
Entrance into the cabaret team is by invitation only where the students audition to join.
